Return of Spiritual Horror

A TOWN in South America is living in fear after several sightings of a 'creepy gnome' that locals claim stalks the streets at night.

The midget - which wears a pointy hat and has a distinctive sideways walk - was caught on video last week by a terrified group of youngsters.

Those guys should have called Priceline. But you never know, they might have found kung-fu Shat even more frightening.

What’s really funny is considering that Central America and European society being at least 500 years older than North American civilization is culturally steeped in local superstition and urban legends where avoiding those daily frights is considered a good omen. Seeking religious freedom from superstition has always been the driving force behind American culture but with the advent of the internet and a mingling of worldwide influences it’s easier than ever to get bumped in the night.
