Leviathan

Raiders 59 - 14 Broncos
Cresting the waves
Leading us all to the grave
Leviathan
Slaying all foes
Who dare to oppose
Tearing bodies limb from limb
Eviscerating on a whim

Ditka's Common Sense

Geeks, Gamers, Girls, and Sex Appeal
When you are a female, your looks matter.
This is true within geek culture as well as in the real world as a whole. Whether you are a member of Team Unicorn being told that you are too sexy to be a true geek, or a chubby writer with messy hair unable to live up to the impossibly beautiful women portrayed in comic books, your looks matter. And its unfair, because when it comes to men it just doesn't matter nearly as much.

Andi mostly agrees with couch Ditka only the problems begin if you're a conservative living in appreciation of fandom:

Well, it just doesn’t make any sense.
And they’re the victims, but not by her, by the media and this third-party group. And they are going to sensationalize it as much as they can and it is dead wrong. To me, it was probably a great compliment to her attractiveness. The country is full of nonsense not common sense now!

Year After Glorious Year

Al Davis: This year's Raiders are like the 1980 Super Bowl champs
"I really liken this team a great deal to the team of 1980, in which the great Jim Plunkett pulled us out of the doldrums, took us to the Super Bowl as a wild card, and we had so many great players who eventually made their way into the Hall of Fame," Davis said in an interview with Sirius NFL Radio.

Eugenics League

Race factors into evaluation of former Stanford halfback and Heisman Trophy runner-up Toby Gerhart
It’s too bad people look at you all weird because of a stereotype.

In other words, underestimate him at your own peril, and brace yourself for maximum impact.

Divisive Punk Dodges Questions

Rush: "I don't see him as a black guy, I see him as the president of the United States. He's got policies here that I really want to fail, and not because of the color of his skin but because of his policies. "

Goodell pandering:

Rush quote: "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They're interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. McNabb got a lot of credit for the performance of the team that he really didn't deserve."

What no one seems to think about while they pander to the liberal media is the NFL is ultimately controlled by money and the organization can't sustain the league if they begin to segregate operations by race. Goodell claims the NFL brings people together and ultimately it does but he's shooting himself in the foot trying to sound good on camera.

King : "I don't think anything that Rush Limbaugh said was offensive, but with Fergie and with J.Lo, they have, between the two of them, alleged that the CIA are terrorists and liars, they've promoted sexual abuse of women, they've used the N-word, verbal pornography, recreational drug use, et cetera, and they are owners of the Dolphins. And it's also ironic that Fergie was approved as an owner on the very day that you made your statement against Rush Limbaugh."
Are you prepared to level the same charges against Fergie and J.Lo, or are you prepared to apologize to Rush Limbaugh today?

"Roger Goodell is a total weasel."

So basically the media wants to control the success of black players beyond their athletic ability by pimping their stats before players of other races have a chance to compete against everyone else on the field where it counts. The deck is tilting against white football players because the media wants to control the ongoing narrative from the liberal contention that only white people can be racist and every other race should have their chance to get even by hating on Rush and white NFL owners.

Goodell should know that steroid infractions and rude hip-hop endzone celebrations won't win games or sell out stadiums so he must be blinded by his desire to receive praise from outside league operations. It's like if liberals can't have a segregated football league then no one will have any football at all. To boldly hate where no one has blamed before.

The Longest Yard

Conservatives stereotyped as racists because they aren't liberal now reduced to nipping on the heels of “reformed” criminals for social status, that's Obama's America, also apparently a forever-embattled nation where the Raiders are spurned when sports writers say they are.

It's like the Democrats use racial bunkerisms displayed in The Longest Yard to justify the commercial success of the NFL and I expect a Michael Moore film within months. Democrats want social justice to be the motivator for the Player's Union, if not they'll outlaw football altogether.

I've noticed for a long time the left hates football even if they are lifelong sports fans and participate in the spectacle only because of the classlessness inherent in their radical urbanized upbringing. The attitude in these quotes alone sets the stage for a looming federal abolishment of the NFL. It's a shot across the bow sports fans, initiated by your bling-bling-infested trash-talk:

'National Liberal League'
What about those pesky monikers that are not politically correct, such as the Redskins and the Chiefs.

Jesse Jackson made a sage observation this week. He noted that owning a pro football team is a "privilege" and not a right.

"There're now gonna be character tests for sports owners?" Olbermann asked incredulously on the air this week. "There'll only be three of them left."

Limbaugh: Checketts approached me
He also said Checketts assured him his involvement as a minority investor had been vetted by the National Football League.

Limbaugh says he believes he has been made an example by a players' union seeking leverage in talks over a new collective bargaining agreement. And he says he believes what happened to him was an illustration of "Obama's America on full display."

Do You Like Parity?

The Yahoo Sports reporter today called Rush a "racist" and a "bigot" and implied he would never hire a black coach.

Adrian Wojnarowski punishes Kobe and Jordan.

Don't you worry Barack

Roger Goodell is Pathetic

Limbaugh Bid Opposed By Colts

On Roger Goodell and Standards
NFL and its owners yesterday moved to allow Black Eyed Peas singer Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson to join the ownership of the Miami Dolphins. Among her vocal credits, a song called "Let's Get Retarded" -- the early version of Black Eyed Peas hit "Let's Get it Started." Because nothing brings us together like making fun of the developmentally disabled?

Sharpton to NFL: Block Limbaugh

In a letter sent to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Sharpton wrote that he was “disturbed” to hear about Limbaugh’s interest in the Rams and asked for a meeting with Goodell “to discuss the myriad of reasons as to why [Limbaugh] should not be given an opportunity to do so.”
