Kill Whiteboy

Peter Parker replacement with biracial Spiderman sparks outcry from Glenn Beck, others
No we're not a post racial society because liberals had to kill off Peter Parker before they replaced him with a stereotype. They're only trying to reinvent Obama as a little boy anyway and see if any readers roll with it. Tiger Woods 2.0

Superman Sorta Likes America Again

“…not just for the people born here, it’s for everyone.”
Wow. So in Action Comics, Superman is United Nations kinda guy apparently ashamed of being an American, but in Superman he’s a flag-waving patriot and a bit of a neocon prepared to spread the American way throughout the land. Interesting.

meh

you bet ya
It was revealed earlier this month that Archie Comics had put President Barack Obama and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on the cover of 'Archie' issues #616 and #617. On the first cover we peeked, the two pols are featured looking downright friendly: Obama and Palin share a milkshake, prompting Archie to declare, "Wow, I guess *anything's* possible!" Inside, Obama and Palin get involved with Riverdale High's student government election, in which Archie is running against Reggie.

Super-Creeping Sharia

NEW YORK (AP) — Comic book fans will soon be getting their first glimpse at an unlikely new superhero - a Muslim boy in a wheelchair with superpowers.

U.S. philanthropist and businessman Jay T. Snyder says he was inspired by President Barack Obama's effort to reach out to the Muslim world in his inaugural address.

Last month, Snyder flew 12 disabled Americans to Damascus to meet a group of disabled young Syrians. One of their main goals was to come up with ideas for the new superhero.

The superhero's appearance hasn't been finalized, but he definitely will be a Muslim boy in a wheelchair. An early sketch shows a boy who lost his legs in a landmine accident and later becomes the Silver Scorpion with the power to control metal with his mind.

Fraud-Con

Will Al Gore Ruin Comic-Con?
According to The Beat, the Hyatt will, instead of Comic-Con, host the 2010 AHA Health Forum Leadership Summit, the guest list for which includes Newt Gingrich, DeeDee Myers, Ken Burns and Freakonomics author Steven D. Levitt, as well as Gore.

It has been noted since November 2008 that Obama controls international pop culture with the same iron fist with which he decimated the auto, healthcare, and banking industries...also mostly the reason why I use you tube clips in nearly every blog post...

Pulp Terror Done Right

Yes terrorism finally glanced in the direction of paulnuts where most conspiratorial anti-government policy originates. Courtesy of GIJoe #155 1/2 which continues the Marvel plotline and details Cobra's masterfully ironic 'lurch to the right' after the Joe team was deactivated in 1994.

Smallville JSA Hawkman

SQUAWK!

His belt constructed from an ancient Egyptian element which allows Earth's gravity to consider Hawkman's mass as lighter then air and his wings create enough wind resistance to float or flutter along into the breeze. Well the costume sure looks like it does.

It's really cool Smallville is trying to bring larger than life costumes to the show but fans will have to wait until February 5th and see if TV effects won't make the characters look like they're wearing weird cardboard cosplay. If Hawkman ever made it into a JLA movie I think they'll have to reestablish the character as Thanagarian with real flying wings.
