Bill of Rights for Fandom

We hold this frack to be self-evident, that all fans are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Fandom. That to secure these rights, Cultures are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the fans. That whenever any Popular Culture becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the Fans to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Culture, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Favorite Properties and Happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that popular culture long established should not be infringed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Stereotype evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Discrimination, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Ignorance, and to provide new Properties for their future consumption.

RESOLVED that the following Articles be proposed to the Legislatures of the several States, as amendments to the Constitution of the United States, all, or any of which Articles, when ratified by three fourths of the said Legislatures, to be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of the said Constitution;

ARTICLES in addition to, and Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America, proposed by Fandom.

Amendment I
Freedoms, Petitions, Assembly
Popular Culture shall make no Discrimination respecting an establishment of Fandom, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the fans peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Culture for a redress of grievances.

Amendment II
Right to bear arms
A well regulated Clone Army, being necessary to the security of a large convention, the right of the fans to keep and bear Blasters, shall not be infringed.

Amendment III
Quartering of soldiers
No Trooper shall, in absence of rooms be quartered in any Attendee Package, without the consent of the Holder, nor when rooms are availible, but in a manner to be prescribed by local vagrancy prohibitions.

Amendment IV
Rights retained by the Fans
The enumeration in the Culture of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the fans.

Amendment V
Sovereignty of Fandom
The Bill of Rights for Fandom shall not supercede or infringe upon regional establishment of law outside the intended influence of Fandom.
