He made a deal with the Hellenic Republic to provide security forces and armarment in exchange for political backing toward his veiled ambitions to establish his vision of a new Roman Empire.
After his usual refinements, Mindbender swears the shield will deflect a .50 cal round.

Zartan!
I never understood the original Zartan except how well he was written in the comics.
Forget the swamp skier. Forget the holographics. This is 100% French anarchist and the man capable of leading the uncouth lot known as the Dreadnoks.
