I found the engine covers and gun that goes on the front.

Anti-Aircraft Artillery Support Platform

"Skyfire"

Primer drying on an old Armadillo which I intend to paint metallic silver like the Sky Havoc. I figure Concrete might use the compact firepower to shoot down enemy Fangs.

Crazylegs

Hey it worked for Starbuck. The original Crazylegs had half his uniform red and since I had a Pilot Scarlett and no talent for painting eyebrows...

In Progress

Dude on the left will be Knockdown and the other in the splattered ACU I don't know yet, still needs work.

Rapier & Starduster

Work in progress Rapier as a Navy SEAL assault specialist and Starduster the jet pack trooper for Battleforce 2000.

Salmagundi & Bushranger

I gave up on a new Roadblock and decided he made a better Dreadnok Somali pirate named Salmagundi. Bushranger is an Australian desert specialist for Tiger Force.

Roadblock & Mainframe

My attempt at updating Roadblock to be the Joe's intelligence agent and Mainframe without the scifi gear.

Repeater v3 WIP

Photo Hosted at Buzznet
I'm not sure what else I need here other than paint the knees black. He's real high-speed with no bulky gear just like the Joes from '83.

This is the M249 SAW condensed down for mobility, half the size of the standard version. BBI SAW with stock and bipod removed, Marauder M4 forward grip, SAW-Viper paraSAW adjustible stock, all just superglued on. If I can get another BBI helo crew figure I'll make another one with the M203 grenade laucher!

Mirage WIP

Photo Hosted at Buzznet
This is my reimagined Mirage, forget the sci-fi weapons specialist. This Joe is a Special Forces Pararescue Combat Medic. I chose the name because, first, Mirage is a dumb character made by Hasbro. Second, the Joes call him Mirage because he arrives out of nowhere to save downed pilot or flanked patrol. He rocks, trust me.

You think you know Bad?

Photo Hosted at Buzznet
You don't know Bad. You shall not. This is Bad. This is the Man stripped down to what he is. Bad. You don't know that kind of Bad. This is silent issue kind of Bad.

I'm waiting for a Marauder P90 PDW and I'll probably paint the whole figure black. I think of the P-90 as the new uzi, you only see it in b-rated movies or sci-fi like Stargate. That competition does not exist. McLovin pwns Sam Fisher.

You think you know Bad?

This is the original Super-Bad. This is Snake-Eyes.

All Hail.

Lighting

Two sheets of tin foil on the sides of my background helps with contrast and distributes lights from the flash. That's a lot easier to deal with than 3 big desk lamps.

Wreckage WIP

I have to figure out what I'm doing for Wreckage. I made one a while back but the muted colors I chose made him look boring overall.
Photo Hosted at Buzznet
Most of the customs for Wreckage at the time used Black-Out's torso but I don't like my Joes to have the sci-fi look. That's great for Cobra, who dabble in everything from mircowave blasters to genetic engineering. On the left is my second concept for Wreckage using Beachy's chest that needs primer from the look of that shiny finish.

Click the image to see the rest of it. The figure on the right is going to be Dusty and I wanted to see if primer will help keep the paint from scraping off at the joints. The Tamiya primer wanted to stay put so I hope the acrylic will too.

I'm going to try and save the Snake-Eyes 02 waist and Duke 02 legs if Super Clean can strip paint that's been cured for five years.

Repeater

For some reason Repater always had his grenade ammo vest which really don't help out with his "stead-cam machine gun". I don't care how experimental it is. His body served as the base for my vintage Desert Leatherneck.

Needs work but pretty much done. I'm not too happy with the SAW vest but I'll see about it later. (I've got to upgrade Shipwreck and finish Ripcord first) The camera flash picks up a lot more imperfections than the eye so I know where to touch up the paint.

Spirit

Not only does ol' Charlie make top pick for a recon team he can also switch gears and function as a ninjaless supercommando. I mean, how can you expect Snake-Eyes to track the enemy when he's got an army of red pajama-clad slobs chasing him around?

Mando WIP

I can't decide if I want to go with two more basecoats then pile on some of the same banged up detail as seen in this image, or just leave it as is. Mando armor needs to be torn up anyway. Really, the soft plastic won't hold the paint, it will just flex and chip off.
