Don't Make Toons Like They Used To

Isn't it more reasonable to allow enemies of the free world to win on occasion so they can learn their lesson as a part of their character development? Is not a fair fight defined as a dual between nations using opposed slave armies as pawns a far more honorable way to settle disagreements?

Last I checked Autobots had free will and Decepticons were a-holes.
