Now the Kelvin is another matter. There have been several single-nacelle designs before and even though this one takes it at another angle with a dorsal engineering wing and dramatically flat saucer it’s still not any more of a departure than what is seen between the Nebula and Galaxy class or Connie refit and Miranda. Kelvin would have been cool as a nextgen ship with the red and blue warp engines. Overall it’s a stout ship and I’ll be looking for a model when they show up, either a big 1/1000 from Polar Lights or two 1/2500 garage kits.
