'Captain Kirk' To Play 'Captain America'
From 'Captain Kirk' to 'Captain America', it looks like 'Chris Pine' is likely to wield the all American shield in the upcoming 'First Avenger: Captain America.'
I've been saying for a while that Star Trek was supposed to be a Jeffersonian arguement. Unfortunately Hollywood obsessed with retreading history assumes FDR was a better Sentinel of Liberty and may choose Pine to be their Cap as if to further disassemble historical context. I guess the Red Skull will have to be a greedy capitalist McCain fantasy for Marvel's newly revised continuity. Also Captain America will have to invent the 9/11 emergency system and slide over plenty of car hoods.
