IDAHO FALLS - Star Wars has been an iconic piece of our pop culture for more than 30 years, but a group of local people are helping bring the appeal of the franchise to a new generation - and its all for a good cause.
Starkly departing from the Fanboys stereotype of the dope smoking childlike moron prankster, Alpine Garrison makes good. A kind local article but again marginalizes the 501st as a successful grassroots charity organizer (if Vader has to apologize for not being a fanatic) with phrases lifted from the entertainment section....but the pictures are worth far more than words. The video is a perfect representation of fandom perhaps even more so than The Force Among Us which tried to have an underground theme.
