This ship is like a ten year old's vision of the 1940's. Drenched with all the killer instinct of an emotech katana slicing through yer skull. Permeating your mind with a sense of loss and strain for hope.
Here's a good example of a 1701 redesign with NX style greebiles but without having to build a whole new caricature of the original ship from a blank slate with no design consistencies to trouble disadvantaged young minds.
And what about this vision of Bones? Since when does a post-modern twenty-something act like a old country curmudgeon? White people think too much?!?
This isn't about resurrecting a flawed franchise, this is about making everyone notice how out of place the new computer-generated era is in the history of film and make everybody hate Star Trek!!
