I love Brett Farve. He makes football a success every time he plays and spits in the face of a media that would prefer his failure in retirement.
Sports media is so desirous to see a black quarterback do well that in the face of Michael Vick’s failure to them, the sports media demands the blood and careers of Bill Belichick and Brett Farve. The competition committee reverses pass interference rules they instituted a couple years ago since the last Patriot’s Super Bowl win. The goal was to shut down what the Pats were best at to give other teams a chance.
This opens up the slot play to favor whoever is the fastest runner along the sideline. Since for the last couple years all teams have moved toward the Patriots model and put their fastest runners in the WR position leaving the defense wide open for a loss. Games are one sided to the fastest offense and a field goal don’t hardly matter.
There’s no reason for the Patriots to be undefeated. But in the face of the controversies perpetuated by the league, I say screw you NFL, yer gutless.
